What is Photon Matrix?
Photon Matrix is a portable laser mosquito defense system. It uses LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, vision moudle, and a precision laser to automatically detect and eliminate mosquitoes.
How does Photon Matrix kill mosquitoes?
It uses a short laser pulse to disable mosquito wings, causing the mosquito to fall. It is a physical, chemical-free process with no smoke or burning smell.
What is the difference between Blue Light and the Infrared Light?
Blue Light Version creates visible blue flashes and is better for outdoor areas. Infrared Light Version is invisible and more suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, and light-sensitive spaces. The other specs are the same.
What insects can Photon Matrix target?
Photon Matrix is optimized for mosquitoes, including common mosquito species such as Culex, Aedes, and Anopheles. It is not designed for cockroaches, wasps, moths, or large insects. Usually it detects flying insects for size between 2mm to 20mm and flying speed less than 1m/s.
Will it harm bees or butterflies?
The system identifies targets by size, speed, and flight pattern. Bees and butterflies are not typical targets, but we recommend keeping the device away from flowering plants or beehives.
Safety & Usage
Is it safe for people, children, babies, and pregnant women?
Yes, when used as directed. The device includes human detection, background detection, and short-pulse laser control to prevent unsafe firing.
Is it safe around cats, dogs, and other pets?
Yes. Pets are much larger than mosquitoes and are treated as non-targets. Place the device where pets cannot knock it over or chew the cable.
Does it require chemicals, sprays, or mosquito attractants?
No. Photon Matrix uses physical laser targeting and does not require chemical sprays, coils, liquid refills, or mosquito attractants.
Does it need professional installation?
No. It is plug-and-play. Place it on a stable surface, connect the power, adjust the direction, and turn it on.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. It can be used on patios, terraces, gardens, poolside areas, and campsites. For longer lifespan, avoid direct rain and strong direct sunlight.
What is the effective coverage range?
The Pro version has an effective range of up to 6 meters and scans a 90-degree sector. For wider or 360-degree coverage, multiple units are recommended.
Can one unit cover a whole room?
One unit covers a 90-degree fan-shaped area, not a full 360-degree space. Place it near mosquito activity areas such as windows, doors, or beds. We recommend placing the device above head height for optimal coverage and improved work efficiency.
Can it run continuously?
Yes. Photon Matrix is designed for long-term operation during mosquito season. Keep the optical window clean for stable performance.
Does it require regular maintenance?
Only simple cleaning is needed. Wipe the optical window every 2–4 weeks with a soft lens cloth to prevent dust buildup.
